Quote: Heat
Adding a new dimension to space combat in EVE, Revelations II brings you Heat: the ability to verload starship modules for a temporary boost in performance, but at the risk of damaging the module.
Missing an 'o' in overload, and on the triage mode there are missing lots of 'by' before the numbers.
Oh and
Quote: The overview is now 'in front' of the in space icons. This will prevent accidental targeting of the wrong target when the icon and the overview entry are in the same place on screen.
really made my day

One thing I'd like to know:
What happens to people who have already trained Starbase Tactical Officer? That skill is not present on Singularity. So do you simply delete it from TQ characters or will it be simply replaced by Starbase Defense Management? By the latter the requirement of Anchoring V could be bypassed and what with people who have trained it to, say, level 4 or something?
Thanks.

Something else, that just came up my mind:
Quote: Logging out inside a starbase forcefield will now not activate an emergency warp, provided that you have rights to stay inside the forcefield.
1. What happens if your aggression timer is active and 2. Does the ship disappear immediately or after a certain delay?
If emergency warp is stil triggered with an active aggression timer, is it visible in 0.0 the same way as anywhere in empire?

Originally by: CCP Explorer Thanks for the comments.
We have to move the files to maintain compatibility with Windows Vista, there isn't much choice. Sorry.
We think MyDocs is an ideal place for those logs since that's the place users would store pictures and screenshots anyway and storing chatlogs and marketlogs there as well seems quite natural. This is not going to generate heavy network traffic. We are using "Local Settings\Application Data" exactly because that's where non-roaming data should be stored.
Thanks to all of you for all the feedback during the development of Revelations II. We start the deployment in 15 hours. We hope you enjoy it!
Right now every test server patch moves all the data from the cache folder in the EVE install path to MyDocuments etc. Please, please add a check box to future patchers to not do this, otherwise you have to move all files from MyDocuments and LocalSettings back to where you want to have it.
I would be very gratefull for it!

Originally by: Malachon Draco Only question I have is, will I still be able to run multiple accounts off one installation of Eve without changing anything?
You will be able to run multiple accounts without any modifications, since the client automatically handles multiple accounts and multiple characters. If you look in the folder "C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\Settings" you will see the current settings files.
The only conflict players might have is when running multiple different clients against multiple servers, i.e., one client against Tranquility, another client against Singularity and the third client against Multiplicity (all different client versions). That's when you need to use the "/end /LUA:OFF" switches, or perhaps examine the advice in this thread, to prevent the different clients from conflicting with each other.
We start deployment in 7 hours. Enjoy!
A little suggestion:
Make the path: Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\<Server Name>\cache and Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\<Server Name>\settings
That would maybe solve the multi-server issue. Simply change the path the application uses after server selection and login. As the Sisi client shouldn't be able to run on TQ and vice versa this might be an option.
Thoughts?
